For this particular jail, as of Sept.09, all you do is send a money order (made out to the inmate) to the Brevard County Jail. They will give the inmate a receipt. However, try to time it so that the inmate gets it on a Mon. or Thurs. Canteen days are Tues. and Fri. and the jail takes out $4.00 PER DAY out of the inmate's account just for housing them. If the money gets there on Tues.,they will take out $12 before the inmate can order on Friday ($4.00 for Tues. Wed,
